The contact owns a 2005 Hummer H2. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal was depressed, and the brakes made a whistling sound. The contact, an independent mechanic, diagnosed that the brake booster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.
